Nancy Wilson of Heart Seeks Divorce
The music and film industry watches another long-time couple break up their marriage this month in Los Angeles. Nancy Wilson, singer-guitarist of Heart, and Academy Award-winner Cameron Crowe have decided to get a divorce after 24 years of marriage. A judge in Los Angeles signed off on the couple's separation after Crowe and Wilson resolved their split with the help of a mediator, a retired judge.
Their divorce was initiated by Wilson who filed in September of this year. However, they have been separated since June 2008. The couple has two children together, 10-year-old twin sons.
Crowe is known for directing such movies as "Say Anything" and "Jerry Maguire" and won an Oscar for the screenplay for "Almost Famous." His ex-wife collaborated on the soundtracks for several of Crowe's films, as well as had a cameo role in "Fast Times in Ridgemont High".
