Kirk Kerkorian Must Pay $100,000 Per Month in Child Support
Even though Kira Kerkorian is not his biological daughter, billionaire casino mogul Kirk Kerkorian has finally agreed to pay $100,000 per month in child support, plus $10 million in back payments. Ex-wife Lisa Bonder Kerkorian admitted during a child custody battle that she had actually faked the DNA paternity results, claiming that took a sample of saliva from Kirk's older daughter. Bonder states that the biological father is famed Hollywood producer Stephen Bing.
Attorneys for neither party are eager to comment on the much-publicized case. Bonder's lawyer Michael Trope refused to comment while Joseph Mannis, legal counsel for Kerkorian, took some time before responding to the Associated Press.
Bonder and Kerkorian were married for only a brief time following a long courtship, yet during that time Kirk raised Kira believing her to be his biological daughter. He now has joint custody of Kira who currently lives with her mother. The agreed-upon settlement states that Kira's mother will receive $100,000 per month until her daughter turns 19 or finishes high school. At that point the amount will be reduced to $50,000 per month. Included in allowable expenses are: equestrian expenses, school-related costs, car, food, travel, housing, tutoring, entertainment, pets, and hobbies.
