McCourts Still Not Able to Reach Divorce Settlement

Last Wednesday, it is said that Frank McCourt took the time to meet with a divorce mediator in an attempt to settle his divorce case, which has put the ownership of the Los Angeles Dodgers into question.

Frank and his soon-to-be former wife, Jamie, concluded a second round of divorce mediation last week. However, it is said that they were not able to reach a settlement.  Frank spent 90 minutes with the mediator, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Peter Lichtman, and Jamie was not in attendance.

At this time, the judge has refused to comment on the specifics of mediation, so it is unclear whether the recent meeting has led to any movement toward a divorce settlement between the couple.

If the couple is not able to reach a settlement, Judge Scott Gordon will have until December 28th to rule on who has ownership of the Dodgers.
