Husband Battles with Missing Wife's Family
While many had given up hope of ever locating the young woman lost in Utah two year ago, new information has renewed hopes of her discovery.
The young woman, age 28 at the time of her disappearance, was last seen in West Valley City at her home. Her husband reported saying good-bye to her before leaving for a camping trip with his two sons, then aged 2 and 4. When they returned from their trip, they discovered that she was not home and had left no messages concerning her whereabouts.
Even though her parents have often named the husband as a credible suspect, Utah police have never charged him with her disappearance. Since that time, he has moved to Washington and now has full custody of the children. In a strange turn of events, however, he did take out a
restraining order against the children's grandparents, preventing them from having any contact with his wife's family.
At this time, police are still investigating the case and are hopeful that they may find the missing mother.
