Actress Seeks Restraining Order Against Stalker

A young actress is seeking a three-year restraining order against a man that has been causing her much grief.

The 19-year-old actress has already obtained a temporary restraining order against her stalker, a 46-year-old man. Based on evidence provided by the actress and the prosecution, a case was built against him showing stalking between July and October of this year. He went so far as to travel to Los Angeles, California where the actress was living to attempt to see and contact her.

At this time, the man is being held involuntarily in a psychiatric facility. Since he was not able to be present to represent himself at the latest hearing, the judge denied the motion for a permanent restraining order. However, the current order was extended further until the man can be brought to court. The stalker also has the chance to contest the charges against him, a fact that the judge reminded the court of earlier this week.
