Details of Wrestler's Divorce Emerge
The details of a former wrestler's divorce settlement became public news this month as his attorneys filed a new motion in court.
Although the settlement was originally confidential, a new motion filed by his attorneys forced the document to go public. It is now known that his ex-wife received just over 70% of their liquid assets in the divorce. In addition, she was given 40% ownership of his companies and a $3 million settlement for property alone.
In total, she was given $7.44 million in the settlement, leaving the wrestler just $2.97 million. A bright note is that he was not asked to pay alimony at all during or after the divorce. He was also allowed to keep some of his cars. Both parties could see more money coming their way if the sale of one of their joint properties goes through. It is estimated to be worth over $8.87 million.
