Mother Shot Over Child Custody Fight

A family is devastated over the loss of a mother that was shot in the head by her ex-husband.

According to the police reports, the woman who was shot was the mother and legal guardian of three children. Just two days before she was killed, the victim had filed for permanent child custody of the children. While she already had custody of the kids, she was not the biological mother. For some reason, the woman had gained custody of her friend's children and had been taking care of them since 2008.

In addition to the older woman, two more people were shot: her oldest biological son, aged 17, and his girlfriend, aged 15.

Are you fighting for child custody? If so, get the legal help you need through your case by contacting the Law Office of Michael Young and working with a Riverside family lawyer who can be of assistance to you.
