Mark Zuckerberg Gets Restraining Order
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has taken out a restraining order against a man who is using his own site to harass the Zuckerberg.
Zuckerberg went before a judge this week to ask that Pradeep Manukonda, 31, be banned from going near him. In the papers filed by Zuckerberg's legal team said that Manukonda has attempted to "follow, surveil and contact Mr. Zuckerberg using language threatening his personal safety." His girlfriend and sister have also been the target of Manukonda's threats.
It all started when Manukonda went to the company's headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif. to beg Zuckerberg for money for his own family. He followed up by sending a handwritten letter to Zuckerberg's home as well as making a personal appearance there last month.
The judge granted Zuckerberg a temporary restraining order stating that Manukonda must remain within 300 yards of the Facebook founder.
