Police Capture Man Wanted Since 2006 for Failure to Pay
After running from the authorities for years a federal fugitive was finally taken into custody by officers in Dearborn County last week.
Larry Wayne Anderson has been evading arrest since 2006 when a warrant was issued in Georgia. At that time he was wanted for failure to pay child support in his home state. Officers were able to track him down to the Tri-State area where he has been living ever since fleeing Georgia. Anderson had been living in a home on Stateline Road.
He was transported by officers with the Indiana State Police to the Floyd County Jail in New Albany, Ind. last Tuesday. He will remain there until his arraignment.
