Number One NBA Draft Pick in News for Being Harassed
Although he cannot be hired by the Cleveland Cavaliers right now due to the lockout, the number one pick in the 2011 NBA draft, Kyrie Irving, is gaining a bit of media attention.
According to Irving, a woman has been stalking him on Twitter and has caused him so much concern that he was granted a temporary restraining order against her. Irving told police that he had met the woman, Jessica Jackson, once in Charleston, SC. They spoke for about two minutes and parted ways, never to meet again, or so Irving thought.
After attempting to contact him on Twitter, Jackson, or Miss Hawaii, went on to post angry messages on YouTube, one of which she even threatened to stab him. This is what motivated the athlete to seek legal help.
