Oksana Grogorieva Tries to Have Gibson's Lawyers Removed from Custody Case
In another attempt to stall their child custody case, Oksana Grogorieva attempted to have Mel Gibson's attorneys removed from the case.
Earlier this month Gibson's ex-girlfriend filed a plea to have the attorneys removed after claiming to have consulted with them in the past. Claiming a conflict of interest, Grigorieva did not want the actor to continue to use this particular legal team. After reviewing her appeal, a judge from the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Los Angeles rejected it.
Grigorieva used the same firm back in 2008 to discuss a legal matter about her son with actor Tim Dalton. The judge went on to say that Grigorieva waited too long to file the plea citing the potential conflict of interest. Gibson and his ex-girlfriend have been fighting for custody of their baby daughter for over a year now.
