Shauna Sand Seeks Divorce from Husband

After less than one year of marriage, Playboy Playmate Shauna Sand has decided to get a divorce.

According to the latest rumors, Sand and husband Laurent Homburger have been fighting for some time. The fighting, however, took a turn for the worse when Homburger held Sand down, yelled obscenities at her and threatened to end Sand's life. She has since filed a restraining order against Homburger.

The divorce documents were filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court last month, citing irreconcilable differences for the split. Sand and Homburger have requested to complete their divorce proceedings without having to sit before a judge. Since "we have no community assets or liabilities," the divorce is expected to be quick and not as messy as Hollywood divorces normally are. Neither party is asking for spousal support at this time.
