Billy Ray Cyrus Nixes Divorce Plans

After the public outcry against his decision for divorce, Billy Ray Cyrus has announced that he will work with wife Tish to keep their family together.

Thanking their supporters, Tish wrote on her Facebook page "Big thanks to all of our family, friends, and fans who have kept us in their thoughts and prayers. I feel so blessed to have so much support from all of you." She went on to say that the family unit is stronger than ever.

Back in October Billy Ray filed the divorce papers to end his marriage of 17 years. In an interview on "The View" last week, however, Billy Ray said that "I want to put my family back together." This is all to amend for the wounds caused by his comments to GQ saying that "Hannah Montana" destroyed his family, leaving teen star Miley hurt and angry.
