Custody Battle Leads to Muderous Rampage

Custody battles are never easy, but they should never end in a murderous rampage such as the one did in California last week.

After battling with his ex-wife over custody of their 8-year-old son, one man completely lost his mind. The 41-year-old went to the salon where his ex-wife worked dressed in body armor. He was carrying three weapons which he used to kill eight people and injure several more. Among the people murdered that day was his ex-wife, leaving his young son without a mother.

When police spoke with the man, they quickly realized that the motive behind the gunfire was to gain more control over his son's life. The father believed that his ex-wife was not properly raising his son and he wanted to be able to spend more time with the young boy.

He now faces multiple charges, including one count of attempted murder and eight counts of murder.

Instead of battling over child custody, consider contacting a Riverside child custody attorney from our law office who can mediate through issues and conflicts.  By working with our Riverside family lawyers, you can work to resolve your disputes expediently.
