Father Takes Custody Dispute into His Own Hands

One father was so upset about the terms of his child custody agreement that he decided to take measures into his own hands.

Police were alerted to the disappearance of a little girl last week who was last seen with her father. The mother told officers that her ex-husband was visibly upset about the child custody agreement and was likely to be responsible for the disappearance. Officers were lucky enough to catch a break in the case when someone submitted a tip about the father's location. The tip turned out to be accurate and led Phoenix police to the apartment building where the two had been living for several days.

Luckily, the 2-year-old girl was found to be in good health and unharmed. While the father was transported to a Phoenix jail, the little girl was brought back home to her mother. The father is now being held on $18,400 bond for several charges, including child abduction and endangerment.
