Grandmother Wins Restraining Order
After being harassed by a man on the street, one grandmother won a restraining order against him.
She went before a judge to explain the details of the harassment and said that the man threatened her and forcefully placed a package on her windshield. Since her son, a man known for fighting the traffic camera initiative in the woman's city of residence, uses her home address as his own, the man said he was attempting to serve legal papers.
However, the elderly woman did not want her son to be harassed, so she asked the traffic camera company representative to leave. He did so, but not before using harsh words to represent his company's intent to stop his local initiative.
This all comes after a judge ordered a $10,000 fine against the company for trying to stop the local initiative against the red-light camera program. The company recently announced its intent to appeal that ruling in order to go ahead with its program.
