Hollywood Couple Divorces after 16 Years

One Hollywood couple is speeding through their divorce proceedings in order to finalize the termination of their sixteen-year marriage.

Despite nearly two decades of marriage to one another, the former child star and her actor husband have decided to call it quits. They filed the divorce papers in Los Angeles last Monday just a few months after legal separation papers were filed. Although they are keeping the details of their divorce fairly mum, they did list "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the end of their marriage.

The soon-to-be ex-wife has asked for spousal support, as well as joint custody of their only child, a 15-year-old son. Not too long after the actress filed for divorce, her younger sister also announced the end of her ten-year partnership.
